Hamburg Craft Beer Tasting Tour
On this 3 hour tour with beer samples, you will learn of the centuries old brewing tradition of the Hanseatic league. Your will discover how different beers are brewed and how the different procedures effects the quality and tastes of the beers. A world from different aromas will unfold- citrus smells, bitter hops, malty roasted flavors- discover what you like best!You will discover the following on the tour:
- get an overview of over 1,000 years of brewing tradition here in the city.
- try and compare at least 7 local brewed, high quality craft beers.
- learn of the various brewing methods, through different types of beer styles: Lager, IPA, Porter or Bocks.
- Get an overview of the blooming Hamburg craft beer scene with ever-more new micro-breweries, beer styles, and local specialties.
- experience authentic St.Pauli atmosphere in buildings that use to be a brothel.

Harbour Boat Trip
Discover the Hamburg Harbour from the waterside on a boat tour. We will show you Germany's largest port, from the historic warehouse district (Speicherstadt) - Hamburg's new UNESCO World Heritage site - to the modern container terminals with huge overseas cargo ships.On the route that varies according to the tide you will see following sights:
- stunning red brick facades of the historic warehouse district (Speicherstadt)
- state-of-the-art container dispatching

- traditional port economies such as shipyards, terminals for shipping of cars, bulk cargo or liquids

UNESCO Speicherstadt (old warehouse district) and Kontorhouse-quarter
On our 2.5 hour tour through the Hamburg Speicherstadt you will discover the largest interrelated warehouse complex in the world. You will see the very impressive and breathtaking buildings of the new UNESCO World Culture Site like the world famous Chilehaus. In the Kontorhouse quarter, the first solely quarter for office buildings in all of Europe and the Speicherstadt, you will delve deeply into the times when trade brought Hamburg onto the world stage.The highlights of this tour include:
- taking wonderful photos of the neo-gothic-brick warehouses and expressionistic Kontorhauses.
- admire the Chilehaus from the 1920´s, a building that is shaped like a ship.
- experience breath taking staircases in the style of the 1920´s (entrance only available on weekdays).
- experience the actual development of the Speicherstadt from a dark industrial area to one of the most attractive quarter in the city.
- discover more of the functionality of the great brick warehouses with a direct connection to the water.

Elbphilharmonie and the new HafenCity
The HafenCity is Hamburg´s new showcase district, one of Europe´s largest inner-city construction projects and an experimental field for urban city life of the 21st century. When finished, it will have expanded the Hamburg city centre by 40% and will double the number of residents living there.
Starting from the current undeveloped fields near the HafenCity University we will work our way along the old inner docks and the modern architecture to the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg´s new iconic landmark. Learn about this gigantic urban development project that will take another decade or two to finish:

The tour ends at the Elbphilharmonie where your group can visit the Elbphilharmonie Plaza with its 360° view of the city on your own. This requires Plaza tickets which must be reserved in advance.
